I launched Vacay On Layaway in 2008 after three years of research and immersion in the travel industry. My mission was simple: help people explore the world without the stress of large upfront costs.
What started as Destinations Unlimited became Vacay On Layaway in 2015 when I earned my IATA accreditation and rebranded to reflect our growing, innovative approach. We created a flexible, interest-free payment system that allows travelers to book unforgettable vacations—then pay over time.

My Journey with Vacay On Layaway
This brand was born in the closet of my first home—and today, it’s an award-winning travel agency recognized in the U.S., London, and Canada.
In 2017 and 2018, I was named a Top 50 Travel Specialist for Jamaica, and at our peak, I brought over 500 travelers to the island for our signature group trip. Even after COVID shook the industry, I refused to give up.
From the rebrand to building a team of agents in multiple states and planning hundreds of weddings and group events, my passion remains unchanged. Today, we’re growing again—launching new group experiences, expanding our offerings, and even developing a mobile app to make booking even easier.
For me, this journey isn’t just about vacations—it’s about making travel possible, memorable, and life-changing.
